　　Eve Stranger在一个酒店房间里醒来，不知道自己是谁，也不知道她是如何到达那里的。她身边有一只泰迪熊、一张信用卡、一个装满现金的公文包、一个用过的注射器，还有一封她亲笔写的信，解释了她的下一个任务。她的生活按周计算，在一个神秘赞助人的支持下，承担着似乎不可能完成的各种任务。Eve的血液中充满了纳米炸弹，注射器中的东西能使其失去活性一周，同时也会抹去她的记忆。因为每周五早上醒来，她都是记忆一片空白，并迎来一份全新的工作，从秘密行动或冒险英雄，到私人购物者，从水下寻宝者，到空间站破坏者。
